Upcycled

When pieces don't meet our standards, we give them a third life by upcycling them at our Atelier. These pieces then become statement pieces that elevate any outfit.

Each upcycled clothing item has its own unique story, adding depth and character to your wardrobe while contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry.

Some of these pieces are then worn by our influencers, shining at CPHFW and adding their own unique stories to the fashion narrative.

Our upcycled pieces tell a story with a mission!

As the founder of Umé Atelier, Mireille's mission is to foster community support and make a
positive impact through Umé Atelier.
Creating a sustainble impact that benefits both people and the planet.

Our partnership with Buurthuis Amsterdam

One of Mireille's goals is to ensure that every piece of clothing has a purpose, even beyond the racks of Umé.

 

In instances where some of our second-hand influencer clothing remains unsold, we carefully select garments that can make a difference in people's lives, providing them with attire suitable for significant occasions, such as job interviews or special events.

After being carefully selected, these items are given to Buurtteam Amsterdam, extending a helping hand to those in need within our community.

 

Additionally we're dedicated to donating 10% of our sales from our upcycled items to support Burrtteam Amsterdam's initiatives.
